Endorsement Week Post #1 - Abort73

This is endorsement week! :) All week I'm going to be putting links and pictures to things I would recommend and encourage you to check out. The first one is Abort 73... maybe you've seen their link on the Rebelution or just stumbled onto it. I found it on the Rebelution and found it really interesting.

Here's a quote from their site:

Abort73 is part of Loxafamosity Ministries. Loxafamosity is a broadly pro-life organization. We say broadly because we recognize that there are other injustices that demand steady and focused Christian attention. Abortion is just one issue and is symptomatic of the greater problem of sin. Underneath everything we do, we offer the gospel. Union with Jesus Christ, through faith and repentance, is the only means for being reconciled to God and spared from the eternal consequences of our sinful behavior. Nevertheless, abortion is massive and real and requires William Wilberforce like Christians who will love their unborn neighbors enough to pour out their lives in defense of them. We're not aiming at a more moral America (as if mere morality could solve our problems). We're aiming at the application of Proverbs 24. "Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter." God is absolutely sovereign, and could end abortion today with a thought, if He so chose. But with rare exceptions, God is pleased to work through human means, fragile and sinful though we be. Abort73 is our effort to prepare the horse for the battle, while the coming victory, belongs wholly to the Lord (Prov. 21:31)

The Abort73 mission is clear: to end abortion for all time. They provide a list of 10 things we can do to help them end abortion.

1. Wear a Shirt

2. Give a pen

3. Add a link to your blog, face-book or website

4. Drive an Abort73 Bumper sticker

5. Share the Wealth (by way of donation)

6. Buy an Ad to hand out (or just run off a bunch of copies)

7. Share a video

8. Tell a friend/ Tell your church

9. Join the list to receive emails and newsletters

10. Send a prayer

I am currently pregnant and just found out a few days ago, I went to get an abortion yesterday and when I saw the sonogram I just couldn't. I decided to take some more time to think. And now I know I can't kill my child... Thank you for the site, it really helped.
